A barking good K9 Party in the Park

Wilkinson Woodward is proud to have been a Gold Sponsor of the recent K9 Party in the Park, which was hosted by the RSPCA Halifax, Huddersfield, Bradford & District Branch.

The annual event, which took place on 2nd July 2023 at Manor Heath Park in Halifax, is a well-established favourite among the pet lovers across Calderdale, Kirklees and Bradford, and raises much-needed funds for the charity each year. The RSPCA Halifax, Huddersfield, Bradford & District Branch is a self-funded, local charity which relies entirely on public support to cover the day-to-day running of its Animal Centre, the training and rehabilitation of the animals in its care, and its external welfare-related activities.
 

The event proved extremely popular, with more than 1,500 people stopping by on the day. Being a Gold Sponsor enabled the Wilkinson Woodward team – we were represented by Tim Manock, Penny Manock, Clive Masters, Gareth Wailes and Ann Marron – to not only showcase our firm’s services, but also to meet some wonderful people and their canine companions while raising money for a good cause.

There was much to enjoy for people and pets alike, with a variety of stalls, kids’ activities, food stands, music, and interactive dog-related party games. The dog show was outstanding and featured 22 different classes, from Perfect Pups and Golden Oldies to Fancy Dress and Most Bonkers Dog.

Besides being a day of fun for all members the family, participating in this event provided a great opportunity to show our support for the local RSPCA and the animals in their care. We hope that our sponsorship, along with the funds raised on the day, will help the charity continue to care for and find loving homes for animals in need.
