Sam Jackson appointed to Law Societys children panel
This week our congratulations go to Sam Jackson, a solicitor at our Halifax office. Sam has just been appointed as a member of the Law Society’s Children Panel and will now be able to represent children within care proceedings.
As a Qualified Duty Solicitor, Sam is regularly called upon to represent clients at police stations, Magistrate’s Courts and Crown Courts. He specialises in all areas of criminal defence and has defended the full range of criminal offences, covering everything from road traffic offences to murder. Sam has also represented parents in Care Proceedings at the County Court and Family Proceedings Court. He is often instructed by relatives wanting to be involved in court proceedings or who want to care for the children involved in a case. As a member of the Law Society’s Children Panel, Sam will now be able to represent children within care proceedings. Sam joined Wilkinson Woodward in 2007 and qualified as a Solicitor in 2009.
