Kate Machon secures training contract

We're pleased to announce that Leeds law graduate Kate Machon has secured a training contract with Wilkinson Woodward.

Kate studied law at the University of Leeds and completed her Masters and LPC (Legal Practice Course) at the University of Law in 2018.

Having gained some early experience with us during the summer of 2017, Kate will start her training contract with us in October 2018 and, over the next 24 months, she will gain experience in all departments. She is due to qualify as a solicitor in October 2020.

Kate attended North Halifax Grammar School, lives in Greetland and is Calderdale ‘born and bred’. Outside work, Kate is a musical theatre fanatic. She performs in amateur shows and is a committee member for the Halifax Light Opera Society Juniors. Kate is also the proud owner of Beth, an adorable Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

As part of her training contract, Kate will spend time at all our offices. She is currently based at our offices in Queen Street, Huddersfield.
