Full steam ahead for Huddersfield charity Platform 1
We were recently introduced to Huddersfield men’s charity Platform 1, a charity which supports men across Kirklees.
After starting with just four members, the charity now supports over 400 men from across Kirklees, offering them a unique space to place to make friends, learn new skills and find support. The charity helps men who are often in various stages of crisis or chaos, battling issues such as mental health, addiction, illness, offending, disability, poverty, loneliness, learning disability and homelessness.
Commercial and property law expert Laura Kurowski was able to advise Platform 1 regarding the lease of their premises in central Huddersfield.
Project Manager Bob Morse commented,
“What you do has a massive positive effect on our ability to provide what we do. We are moved by your generosity and acknowledge the kind support from Wilkinson Woodward. Your support means so much to us!
