Class of '74 Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge: the first of our Liza's Legacy events

In memory of our much-loved colleague Liza Pickles who passed away last year, we've signed up to Liza's Legacy, a series of events to raise funds for Overgate Hospice, whose amazing staff cared for Liza in the final days of her life.

The first of our Liza's Legacy events is the Class of ‘74 Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge.

On 11 May 2019 our director Andrew Crabtree will join five other former Hipperholme Grammar School chums on a knee-grinding 26 mile yomp round Yorkshire's Three Peaks - Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough.

Armed with little more than flasks, butties and an assortment of corn-plasters, Andrew and his school pals hope to complete the iconic route in time to end their day slumped over refreshments at the Game Cock Inn, Austwick.
