Shareholder or partnership agreements
Whether you are setting up a new business or have been trading for some time, it’s always a good idea to have an agreement in place which sets out what is expected of your key people, the restrictions on working in competition and what happens if there is a dispute.
The hope is that you won’t ever need it but if problems do arise, a Shareholders Agreement (Limited Companies) or Partnership Agreement will save you a lot of time and money by avoiding the need to resolve disputes.
